Rachel Bangura


As executive assistant, Rachel provides crucial support across the firm, managing schedules and day-to-day operations, and lending assistance on client projects.

Prior to joining HCM, Rachel served as an administrative assistant with NRI Staffing, Inc., where she provided administrative support for corporate clients in diverse industries, including IT, manufacturing, real estate and healthcare. She also served as an assistant in the human resources office of the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, where, among other duties, Rachel trained and oversaw participants of the department’s summer youth program.

An active supporter of human rights issues, Rachel worked at both the Youth Court of the District of Columbia and the Department of Human Rights in Washington D.C. to improve the lives and situations of at-risk and disenfranchised individuals. Promotion of lifelong learning for the community’s historically underserved youth has always been a passion for Rachel. During Rachel’s college breaks, she would volunteer in local classrooms and encourage young people to pursue higher education.

Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University, University Park.


My passion is driven by attempting to make the world change or helping others perform the task. Working behind the scenes to better improve the lives of the undeserved across our country is the most influential part of my day.
