Celebrating the Promotion of Dr. Julie Ajinkya to Principal

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Dr. Julie Ajinkya to Principal at HCM Strategists. Her journey with us has been marked by a steadfast dedication to improving degree completion rates for underserved populations, including students of color, working adults, and justice-involved individuals. Since joining HCM as a senior advisor last year, Julie has been pivotal in guiding institutions toward better serving non-traditional learners, including student parents, adult learners, and transfer students. She has also spearheaded our postsecondary value work, focusing on creating more equitable access and fostering transparency around educational costs for students.
As Principal, Julie will continue her leadership by focusing on developing a portfolio to serve working adults—a key demographic representing one in six Americans with some postsecondary credit but no credential. Her vision will drive HCM’s impact forward as she works closely with stakeholders nationwide to expand access and opportunity.
Julie’s promotion is a testament to HCM’s ongoing commitment to broadening our scope and deepening our influence in higher education. We have many exciting initiatives on the horizon, and we look forward to continuing to lead the charge for a more inclusive and equitable higher education system.
